1. Who we are

Songelle is a song-gift service operated by Songelle Ltd ("Songelle", "we", "us"). When you order, you tell us about someone you care about and we create an original, studio-quality song made from your story, delivered to a private page within 24 hours. You can reach us any time at hello@songelle.com.

2. Your order

You order by completing our short questionnaire and paying through our checkout. Songelle is pay-first: because each song is made to order from your story, no lyrics or audio are shown before purchase. Your order is confirmed once payment is taken, and we begin work straight away.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us — the recipient's name, your story, and the style choices. The more real detail you share, the better the song.

3. Price and payment

The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Prices are set per market (UK, US, EU) and shown in your local currency. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Optional extras — such as Rush delivery — are clearly priced before you pay.

4. Delivery

Standard delivery is within 24 hours of a confirmed order. If you add Rush delivery, we aim to deliver in about 6 hours — you're paying for priority in our queue, not a different song. We deliver your finished song to a private page and let you know by email when it's ready. Delivery times are targets we take seriously; if we ever miss them, contact us and we'll make it right.

5. Your story and the finished song

You keep ownership of the personal details and story you provide. You grant us the licence we need to use them to create and deliver your song. Once delivered, your song is yours to keep, play, and share privately as a gift.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to share. We may decline or refund an order that asks for content we can't responsibly produce.

6. Refinements and our guarantee

Every order includes one free refinement round — tell us what to change and we'll remake it. Every order is also covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Full details are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

Please use Songelle only for genuine, personal gift orders. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, abuse our systems, or resell songs as your own work.

8. Liability

We provide Songelle with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for things that can't be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
